Endy Chavez has never played in more than 141 games, only hit above .300 while getting 300-plus ABs once and despite many thinking he’s a base-stealing speedster, the current Mariner has only swiped 20-plus bases one time.
Yes, Endy Chavez remains a household name, even though many fans are not aware he is still on a big league roster. The 36-year-old outfielder has played for seven teams (Mariners twice) since his 2001 debut and might be best-known for this catch during Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS (even though the Mets lost the game):
