LaTroy Hawkins – Colorado Rockies
Yes Twins fans, LaTroy Hawkins is still pitching somehow. The ageless wonder has pitched for 10 different clubs (Rockies twice) since his MLB debut with Minnesota in 1995.
Hawkins’ first 98 career appearances came as a hard-throwing starter but a career ERA that hovered around 6.00 forced him to the pen, where he has become a reliable arm for the last 15 seasons.
Following his departure from the Twin Cities, he made stops in Chicago (Cubs), San Francisco, Baltimore, Colorado, New York (Yankees), Houston, Milwaukee, Los Angeles (Angels)…back to New York (Mets), then back to Denver where he has appeared in 40 games with a 3.00 ERA.
With apparently no desire to retire anytime soon, the 41-year-old just keeps pitching and very few people even know.
