Jemile Weeks – Baltimore Orioles
Former No. 5 overall pick (2008) Jemile Weeks was billed as the best thing in Oakland since steroids. The younger bro of Brewers infielder Rickie Weeks, Jemile burst onto the scene in June 2011 with the AL Rookie of the Month Award after a .309 average on seven doubles and three triples.
However, 2012 came with serious growing pains for Weeks and he was demoted in August after four months of a .220 average and 24 extra-base hits.
Unbeknownst to many, Weeks became the player to be named later in the Jim Johnson trade last December but has only appeared in three games with the big league club.
