One year after posting a 5-12 record and 4.55 ERA in 24 starts as a 23-year-old rookie, Nick Martinez is giving the once-pitching heavy Rangers something to get excited about again. He’s averaging a shade over six innings per start in 2015 and has a microscopic 2.03 ERA while helping Texas climb back to the .500 mark.
