In what was Ronda Rousey’s longest fight of her MMA career, she came up with a victory thanks in part to her devastating armbar. After a back-and-forth first two rounds, 58 seconds into the third round Rousey applied a nasty armbar on Miesha Tate and forced her to submit. Tate fought bravely and secured a moral victory as being the first woman to make it out of the first round against the Ronda improves her pristine record to 8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC, while Tate drops to 13-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC. Rousey retains her UFC women’s bantamweight title.
