This past Friday Nick Newell realized a childhood dream like many other fighters do with his first taste of gold at XFC 21. The only difference is that Newell only has one arm. Newell was born with congenital amputation which stopped the growth of his arm at the elbow.
This isn’t the first time the newly crowned champ has graced the front page of CS. This past August, the 9-0 undefeated champ had an awesome highlight knockout that can be seen here.
One of the most incredible stats about Newell’s MMA career is that he has finished 8 out of 9 opponents all in the 1st round. Only one fight has ever gone to the judges and he won that with a majority decision. Beast.
