Taishan Dong hails from China, is 26 years old and he boxes for a living.
Oh, he’s also seven feet tall and weighs 287 pounds and his nickname, the “Great Wall”, is fairly unoriginal but gets a lot of points for accuracy.
Last month, the “Great Wall” made his pro boxing debut against the “smaller” Alex Rozman. Rozman is six-foot-three and weighs 255 pounds so the match had a real “David vs. Goliath”. You know, if David was the size of a linebacker.
Dong won the match in two rounds by knockout. Unfortunately for him, it may take awhile for Dong to find an opponent his size to face because the supply of seven-foot boxers isn’t particularly deep.
