The Dallas Mavericks beat the New Orleans Hornets 107-89 last night to finally get back to .500 at 40-40. In case you were not aware, the Mavs made a team pledge to not shave until they returned to .500 and they finally did. I’ve always liked the Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki quite a bit, but part of me wanted them to finish the season with a losing record so Dirk’s magnificent mane could live on.
While it’s unfortunate that the Mavericks will now all be clean-shaven, it’s quite fortunate that someone was there with a camera to capture footage of Dirk shaving after the game. Not sure about the musical scoring for the video, but it’s a masterpiece nonetheless.
