Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath recently revealed that his right cleat (the one he uses to kick with) is a full three sizes smaller than his normal shoe size. Forbath says that the process to get his size 10.5 foot into a 7.5 soccer cleat is lengthy and uncomfortable, but claims the smaller shoe gives him better distance.
As the old saying goes, it’s hard to argue with results; Forbath is a perfect 9 for 9 on field goal attempts this season, the best start for a Redskins kicker in franchise history.
