“Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” doesn’t hit theaters until December 20th, but you will be able to get a taste very soon. Ben & Jerry’s is introducing a Ron Burgundy inspired flavor in the coming weeks that is sure to take you to Pleasure Town. The new flavor is appropriated called “Scotchy Scotch Scotch” and it features butterscotch ice cream base with butterscotch swirl ribbons.
Ben & Jerry’s divulges the origins of this delicious flavor:
We don’t know how to put this but this flavor is kinda of a big deal. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it “Scotchy Scotch Scotch”. Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago. Stay Classy, From all of us at Ben & Jerry’s.
I’m quite glad they decided against making an ice cream flavored like a used diaper filled with Indian food or a turd covered in burnt hair.
