Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer appears to have finally joined Twitter this week. Despite the fact that Ballmer retired back in February, his account bears the handle @MicrosoftSteve – which makes it pretty hilarious that two of the first four tweets come via an iPhone.
Pretty quick to switch alliances there, eh Steve? Somebody’s got some explaining to do.
It’s worth noting that the account has yet to be confirmed or verified as Ballmer’s, but this selfie posted to the account presents a pretty compelling case.
Thanks for having me @Twitter! Guess I'm supposed to start with a #selfie, right? pic.twitter.com/Ivcas8gn2T
