With Doc Rivers at the helm the Los Angeles Clippers are finally getting their own identity. Most would believe that the Lakers own the Staples Center and the Clippers are just the guy sleeping on the couch, however the team is trying to change that perspective. During Clippers home games this year all of the Lakers banners including championship and retired jerseys will be covered up by huge photographs of the Clippers star players. “I look at it as putting our guys up…this is our arena when we play … No disrespect to them,” stated new head coach Doc Rivers. The times they are a-changin.
