Sure, it’s a pretty specific world record but that doesn’t make what 20 year old Anthony Brooks did any less impressive.
Brooks not only solved five Rubik’s cubes in one minute and 18 seconds. He solved them while he was underwater. In one breath. Because solving Rubik’s cubes on land must get pretty boring if you can do them in less than 20 seconds a piece in normal conditions. Brooks averaged a Rubik’s cube around every 16 seconds while he deprived his brain of oxygen.
