Donald Trump reaffirmed his personal vendetta against windmills while testifying in the ongoing massive fraud trial in New York.

New York Attorney General Letitia James alleges that the Trump Organization, under the direction of Trump and his adult children, falsely inflated financial assets like golf resorts and hotels to defraud insurance companies and obtain favorable loans from banks as they built their real estate empire.

During testimony on Monday, Trump took several tangents. One included the oft-targeted windmills.

“I’m not a windmill person,” he said at one point, according to Politico.

Trump made headlines last month while speaking at a political rally. He falsely claimed that windmills were making whales “a little batty” and leading them to commit whale suicide on the beaches.

“They are washing up ashore,” said Trump. “You wouldn’t see that once a year – now they are coming up on a weekly basis. The windmills are driving them crazy. They are driving the whales, I think, a little batty.”

Trump could be barred from doing business in New York and lose several of his iconic properties if the trial goes against him.

Trump, like all Americans, is presumed innocent until proven guilty. He is currently the leader for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
