NHL 15 is set to hit stores in a few weeks, but you probably won’t find St. Louis Blues forward Ryan Reaves waiting in line to buy it unless the EA Sports team has made some significant changes to his player model. Reaves took to Twitter this week to point out a glaring inaccuracy with his representation in NHL 14:

Yeah, I’d probably be mad too if I were Reaves. The graphics & player models in NHL games have been highly criticized by sports gamers over the past few years because of how generic, inaccurate, and lazy they’ve been, and Reaves’ character is just another (pretty extreme) example of that.
NHL is promising improved visuals and player models for NHL 15 so we’ll have to wait and see if Reaves is happier with his character this time around.
