2k Sports’ NBA franchise has garnered a reputation for being one of the most realistic and detailed sports simulations on the video game market in the past handful of years. They pay very close attention to detail and try to make the basketball experience as true-to-life as possible.
In the series’ latest installment, the upcoming NBA 2k14, you might notice something off the court that you haven’t seen in any of the previous games – new, customized bench celebrations. These new celebrations will be brought to you by Golden State Warriors reserve Kent Bazemore, who has quickly established himself as one of the league’s most epic “cheerleaders” on the bench. His wacky celebrations force your eyes to immediately dart to the Warriors bench after every big play for Golden State.
Check out Bazemore’s “highlight” celebration tape:
Those are some of the types of celebrations you can expect to see in NBA 2k14, which is due out this fall. The game’s developers have been motion-capping Bazemore’s sideline antics for inclusion in the game so don’t be too shocked when your bench erupts into a frenzy when you tear it up on the virtual court later this year.
