An Oregon man was very hungry for double cheeseburgers, and was very angry when McDonald’s chose to not meet his request.
37-year-old Jedediah Ezekiel Fulton asked for McDonald’s to make him 30 double cheeseburgers, and when the fast-food restaurant declined, he “destroyed a banner and then attacked the arches.”.
Here’s more, from the Associated Press (via Time):
Authorities say Fulton became upset when the fast food restaurant in the western Oregon town of Sutherlin declined to make his order. Police say he destroyed a banner and then attacked the arches.
The Sutherlin Police Department says he also grabbed a person’s shirt and that a witness afraid for that person’s life pulled out a gun.
It’s unclear from the article if Fulton offered to pay for all 30 double cheeseburgers or if he simply demanded that McDonald’s make him 30 double cheeseburgers for free. Whatever the case, his first mistake was choosing McDonald’s over so many other options with better cheeseburgers.
Fulton was arrested on suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment.
