By far the best story over the weekend was Eric LeGrand’s first public appearance since his tragic accident which left him paralyzed in a college football game against Army just over 4 months ago. Eric attended a “Laugh To Heal Comedy Fest” Fundraiser on the Rutgers campus Saturday night. The event was a fundraiser for the “Eric LeGrand Believe Fund“, which was set up to support Eric and his family during the painful rehabilitation process. Bill Bellamy performed stand-up at the event and over 3,000 people came out in support of the great cause.
Eric remains paralyzed below the neck, yet positive signs keep appearing as he has regained movement in his shoulders and is experiencing sensation throughout his body. Our prayers are with Eric and his family.
