Shabazz Napier wasn’t supposed to play tonight for UConn due to a foot injury. Luckily for the Huskies he was able to not only play, but hit a ridiculous 30-foot three pointer as time expired in overtime to give his squad a 73-70 win over Villanova. This all comes after Napier grilled his teammates following their loss to Marquette on Sunday.
Looks like the sophomore point guard is serious about turning UConn’s season around.
