Folks, this video has it all. It is provided to the world by the minor league Dayton Dragons, Single A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Here’s the catch, though: none of the excitement of the video comes from the players themselves. First, we have a fan making a fantastic snag in the stands. And then…well, then it gets weird. Take a look:
Seriously, what is going on here? A leaping catch by a fan. A face-first dive into a cement wall and metal fence. And then? Naturally, it takes a weird turn towards something that only can be described as Minor League Meets David Lynch. Every time I watch it I become more and more flabbergasted that the broadcasters somehow held it together for the entire video.
