Now listen, is it possible for the Knicks to turn this tumultuous season around? Of course, but how far can they go? Maybe they can get to the playoffs…maybe. When your team sucks and your only real valuable asset is in fact one of the best players in the league, usually the best solution is to get something of value back for him and start over. Perhaps build from the draft, a tool which the Knicks have underutilized over the past twenty five years. The bottom line is that as long as this team is run by a bad owner and an inconsistent front office the franchise will struggle.
