
2. Trade him to the Orlando Magic
The Magic have two first round draft picks and a core of young, talented players. Melo would fit perfectly in Orlando, filling the void of overhyped superstar left by Dwight Howard. If somehow we can trade Melo for a few of those young players and both draft picks, the Knicks can potentially be in the running for studs like Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins in next years draft. The Knicks don’t need a big name to sell tickets like Orlando does, they need to build a team that can provide a bright future and win a few championships. This current roster led by Carmelo is never going to win a championship, which sets up a nice segue into the next slide…
