For only the fourth time in school history Notre Dame will have player’s names on their jerseys for when they take on Alabama in the BCS National Championship game. The decision will no doubt be a controversial one in ND traditionalists minds, but it is kind of nice to see players getting the love in a game which will most likely break a great deal of viewership records. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as ND has donned player’s names on jerseys for the past two bowl games.
