Matt Martin of the Islanders not only helped his team to a 3-1 win, but in the process he also got into a scrap with Tom Kostopoulos of the Devils and knocked him out cold. It was a clean right to the chin which caused Kostopoulos to go down, and he was immediately out as he hit the ice. You knew it was bad when Martin, who just did the slugging, called for the trainers as Kostopoulos hit the ice.
