Men’s college hoops saw a nail biter that came down to the wire when BYU hosted St. Mary’s Wednesday night.
After BYU hit a shot in the final seconds to take a 69-67 lead over St. Mary’s, the BYU faithful thought they had the game won. But with just 2.5 seconds left on the clock, St. Mary’s guard Matthew Dellavedova quickly drove the court and threw up a running three-pointer from just inside the half court line for the game-winner. He drained it, giving St. Mary’s the one point, 70-69 victory.
