Lionel Messi is the best at what he does, and constantly reminds us of that with unbelievable goals. His most recent magic trick came in Barcelona’s 2-0 victory at Sevilla. Messi took a pass from Andres Iniesta, slipped the ball through defender Emir Spahic’s legs and chipped a shot over goalkeeper Andres Palop.
The masterful net was Messi’s 31st league goal this season, one behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s league-leading total, and the 150th league goal of his career. With 14 goals in his past six games, Messi needs four to tie Cesar Rodriguez’s Barcelona career record of 235.
Not many players have the skill and audacity to bust out a chip after doing their defender dirty with a nutmeg. That’s FIFA 12 sh*t.
