The Los Angeles Kings’ social media has been as dominant as the actual Kings team this postseason. Their most recent and brilliant move came when Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight from ‘The Office,’ reached out to the LA Kings Twitter account saying that he wanted to check out the Los Angeles Kings in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Kings social media folks responded in great fashion stating that they would give him tickets, but they wanted to deliver them in a bowl of JELL-O.
True to their word, the LA Kings delivered the tickets to Rainn in a bowl of JELL-O. The joke was referring to one of my favorite scene’s in the office where Jim put Dwight’s stapler in JELL-O.
