Robinson Cano is poised to make a lot of cash this offseason. The free agent second baseman is believed to be the best free agent and his agent, Jay Z’s Roc Nation has already leaked that they want a contract in the range of 10-years $300 million. But on Monday it was Cano’s 31st birthday so the business aspect was put aside for a day to celebrate. Cano had what looks to be an amazing birthday party in Belgium with Jay Z in attendance.
Cano and his crew partied at nightclub Magic after Jay Z played in Antwerp. The celebration was boozy as they popped dozens of bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne, which ranges from $1,100 to $22,000 a bottle.
Jay Z also gave his biggest client a special birthday gift, a Hublot watch. Jay Z just signed an endorsement deal with the extravagant Swiss watch brand and mentions them quite often in his songs. There is even a Jay Z Hublot watch, the Shawn Carter by Hublot Classic Fusion. Only 100 of the limited-edition gold version of the watch were made and has a price tag of $34,000, so Jay Z gave one to Cano for his birthday. I need new friends.
