12. Grant Balfour, Relief Pitcher
Balfour has been a steady set-up man for most of his career and over the past two seasons he has transferred that steadiness to the closers role, recording 24 and 38 saves, respectively, and representing the Athletics in the All-Star Game last July. Look for him to remain a closer next season.
