A post-game brawl erupted this weekend which featured coaches from Walker and Cullman high schools going at it and one of them leaving the field with a fairly bloody face. Cullman won the game 13-10, but that mattered very little as the brawl took center stage, especially in newspapers Saturday morning.
According to the Cullman Times:
Shortly after the Bearcats rushed the field to celebrate their victory, a full-on brawl broke out. Cullman defensive coordinator Matt Hopper emerged with a torn shirt and visibly cut, bruised and bloodied face. Players from both teams were immediately ushered to their respective locker rooms. Bearcat administrators coordinated with local police to find an alternate exit from the stadium.
Both coaches will definitely be getting into trouble, and one has already been placed on administrative leave.
