At a stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador on the Harlem Globetrotters tour, Globetrotter Darnell “Spider” Wilks threw down a powerful dunk that shattered the glass and tore down the whole rim.
Wilks, a former Cincinnati Bearcat turned Globetrotter, was a participant in the 2011 College Slam Dunk Championship where he made it to the semi-finals. It seems that dunk contest got the attention of the Globetrotters, because they picked him up in 2011 and he has been throwing down moster slams ever since.
