After nearly 10 years on the job, Google CEO Eric Schmidt is stepping down from his position and Co-Founder Larry Page is stepping up. Eric Schmidt will assume the role of Executive Chairman where he will focus on external matters of the company such as partnerships and deal making. Basically they are getting new business cards.
The real news here is of a photo taken earlier today that shows Larry Page (front seat), Sergey Brin (back seat), and Eric Schmidt (daredevil chilling on the top), riding along in a self-driving car. First, how do I buy one? Second, always wear your seat belt.
Note to Schmidt: Please see this article to learn the risks of car surfing.
