A.J. Francis has been on quite the emotional roller coaster this week, but we are happy to say that it ended in the best way possible. The week started out with A.J. going undrafted in the NFL draft, but that is when things turned around. A.J. had a birthday the following Saturday and during the birthday he announced to his girlfriend (at the time) and friends that he had signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins. The fun didn’t end there. As his friends hooted and hollered in support, A.J. then turned to his girlfriend and proposed to her after a touching speech. All in all, not a bad week.
A.J. then uploaded the video to YouTube so we could all enjoy the moment with the following description:
Witness the worst rendition of happy birthday ever, followed by incredible jubilation from my friends and family as I announce that i signed an un-drafted free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins, followed by a proposal to the love of my life. All the while being provided hilarious commentary from by idiot friends while they all film from their iPhones. God Bless Steve Jobs. But honestly this is one of the funniest and heartwarming things I have ever seen, but maybe I am a little biased.
