Former NHL star and Hall of Famer Chris Chelios has his Malibu beach house up for rent, and the price is not too cheap. According to realtor.com the beach pad can be rented for a three-month span for a deal of $40k a month, or if you want a one month stay it can run you $100k for certain months. You can check out a gallery of pics from the house below as well learn a little more about what the pad has to offer.
Chelios’ rental rates scales over the summer months, but there is a certain level of flexibility. For those looking to enjoy a three-month stay, the former Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings star asks $40,000 a month for the months of June, July and August. That’s a significant savings over the month-long summer rates: $75,000 for June, $100,000 for July and $100,000 for August.
So, what exactly does Chris Chelios’ Malibu spread have to offer? Well, for starters, the home showcases panoramic views stretching from Point Dume to Palos Verdes. The main house offers a relaxed Southern California living experience with an open and flowing floor plan and rows of ocean-facing sliding-glass doors. Connecting to the main structure via a walkway is a detached guest house that acts as a jumping-off point for beach activity with numerous decks, a rooftop patio and a Jacuzzi. In all, the property offers a total of four bedrooms, five bathrooms and nearly 3,800 square feet.
