5. The Too Many Outdoor Games:

The NHL really struck gold with their Annual Winter Classic, starting on Jan. 1, 2008 between the Sabres and Penguins. Now, the NHL has decided to cash in on that concept by adding 5 more outdoor games to the NHL Schedule this season.

This slate of outdoor hockey includes a game in Los Angeles (yes, really) between the Kings and the Ducks. The move will probably result in a classic,  too much of a good thing-type scenario, but will also generate buckets of revenue for the league.
