The Washington Huskies, long-unable to compete with arch rival Oregon when it comes to actual football, can now claim to be competitive with their southern enemy in at least one category: spiffy new uniforms. The school revealed two new uniform looks, one of which is apparently an attempt to blind their opponent (a shiny gold chrome helmet), along with one that is supposed to intimidate the crap out of everyone (a matte black helmet, with matching all-black uniform).
Right now, Phil Knight’s minions are probably already designing a counter-attack.
