Last year, ESPN ranked the Top 500 players in the NBA. Despite being the league’s best cheerleader, Golden State Warriors guard Kent Bazemore came in at #499. Considering there are 30 teams with 15 spots on each roster, only 450 players get to suit up…meaning ESPN didn’t even think Bazemore should be in the league.
It looks like Bazemore is using that as some motivation to improve his game, as the guard recently revealed during a summer league game that he has the number stitched into his shoe.
