The college athletics arms race has engulfed everything from pregame meals to iPads and the enticing, yet concerning, phenomenon continues to dominate uniforms with an unforgiving vice-like grip. As the college hoops season starts to heat up, let’s take a trip through history and review some of the best throwback uniforms of teams currently in the Associated Press Top 25 Rankings.
These are not necessarily the best, most fashionable and tantalizingly eye-pleasing digs but they represent the ones that must be brought back by each team for just one game.
