Sports arenas and stadiums are places of worship. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. That is why it hurts so badly when we see our places of worship go to the highest bidder and get tarnished.
We understand that sports is a business, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting when that reality hits home like it did in Portland a few weeks back.
