In honor of former ESPN sports personality Bill Simmons waltzing over to HBO this week, let’s travel back three decades and enjoy the intro segment for the then-11-year-old network from 1983.
It’s the same year that HBO premiered their first original movie, The Terry Fox Story, and first children’s broadcast on that channel, Fraggle Rock. We’d recommend keeping the little kiddos far, far away from the premium channel during Bill Simmons’ segments.
