Fresh Off the Boat, the sitcom that is inspired by the life of chef Eddie Hwang, will air an episode on Tuesday that features Bulls all-time great Scottie Pippen.
Judging by the short clip that ABC provided for the show, the episode will likely revolve around Eddie’s attempts to become president of his school when another kid brings in Pippen as a part of his own presidential campaign (after all, the kid’s dad is Scottie Pippen’s accountant). Of course, Scottie turns out to be a less-than-effective campaigner when the only thing that he can offer the kids are free Air Pippens, not the Air Jordans that they were obviously hoping to get from the Bulls’ legend.
Poor Scottie. Always playing second fiddle to MJ, even in a fictional elementary school set in the nineties.
At least it seems that Pippen had a blast on set.
