“Full moon is the best time for gratifying alliances”….huh?
It would awfully kind to say True Detective has fallen flat on its face after an incredible first season. The anthology-formatted HBO show has been blasted by fans and critics for a lackluster second season, leading many to wonder if producers will even develop a third season.
Among those demolishing the poor plot lines and empty/cheesy dialogue is late night TV host Seth Meyers, who hilariously mocked the show’s quotes with a brilliant game: True Detective Quote or Fortune Cookie?
