Ryen Russillo might be the most underrated and under-appreciated sports personality on earth over the last few years. The man known to most as Scott Van Pelt’s sidekick on their radio show SVP & Russillo is amongst a select group of media folks that can formulate a simple, yet impressively thought-provoking, argument for almost any topic. He’s extremely careful with his words, almost never generates even a smidgen of controversy and has a tremendous awareness for most situations, all of which were on full display when filling in Keith Olbermann on Wednesday.
We’ll try not to give Russillo too much credit with this segment, as he likely had many days to prepare his thoughts and was assisted by the show’s fact-checkers and writers, but his piece on LeBron haters was simply fantastic.
