An Alaskan news reporter bailed during a live broadcast in an attempt to draw attention to the issue of medical marijuana. During the middle of a report, Charlo Greene revealed she is the owner of Alaska’s Cannabis Club before inferring she may quit her job…then she actually did quit her job.
According to the Alaska Dispatch News, Greene made the dramatic exit to draw attention to medical marijuana:
I wanted to draw attention to this issue. And the issue is medical marijuana. Ballot Measure 2 is a way to make medical marijuana real … most patients didn’t know the state didn’t set up the framework to get patients their medicine. If I offended anyone, I apologize, but I’m not sorry for the choice that I made.
You can see that Greene obviously stunned her co-worker news anchor, who quickly apologized for the impromptu career change.
