Why can’t people just admit they are not diehard fans of the sport, player or team in question? We see these videos all the time but they never stop being hilarious, as there’s simply nothing better than mocking “fans” over their shocking lack of self-proclaimed knowledge.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Lie Witness News segment is always amusing but his March Madness version was particularly awesome, and rather embarrassing. The NCAA Tournament is similar to the Super Bowl, in that everyone watches at least some of it or is at least aware it is occurring. As a result, many so-called fans pretend they know significantly more than they actually do, as was the case with this oblivious group of Los Angeles folks.
