It’s sort of amazing that Harrison Ford is even agreeing to reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. After all, the actor has gotten rather curmudgeonly over the years:
And he may be even grumpier now. The 71 year-old actor was injured on the set of Star Wars by the Millennium Falcon’s door. Yes, out of everything in a galaxy far, far away, the only thing which could stop Han Solo is his own ship.
Luckily for Ford, Star Wars and Disney, Ford’s injury should not slow down shooting of the film.
“Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates,” said a statement from Disney.
