Following their parade and celebration at the Staples Center yesterday afternoon, Alec Martinez and Justin Williams of the Los Angeles Kings headed to the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live to do an appearance with the Stanley Cup.
While there, Martinez (the Cup-clinching goal scorer) and Williams (Conn Smythe winner) used the bowl on top of the Cup to make a whole lot of margarita mix with Kimmel and the always hilarious Guillermo. Judging from the amount of tequila Guillermo poured into the Cup, the concoction was probably pretty strong.
The group was later joined by Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, who dropped an awesome f-bomb at the parade celebration, to watch New York mayor Bill de Blasio make good on their Stanley Cup bet and sing Randy Newman’s “I Love LA.” That turned out to be expectedly painful.
