Last month, the Joe Biden administration and the Department of Education announced changes to Title IX to allow transgender women and girls protection and equal rights, as well. And former ESPN anchor Sage Steele is not at all happy about it.
In a post on social media this week, Sage Steele said that she is “appalled and disgusted” with Joe Biden as she promoted the new “American Girls in Sports Day,” which will be celebrated on Oct. 10.
“As a longtime sportscaster and champion of women’s sports, I am appalled and disgusted with the Biden administration’s decision to tear apart Title IX after more than 50 years of progress,” Steele wrote according to Fox News.
“Therefore, I am honored to stand alongside Senator Marsha Blackburn as she chooses to fight back and celebrate women and girls. I am so grateful for her commitment, and I will personally do everything in my power to forever protect, uplift and celebrate women and girls! Can’t wait until October 10th!”
Steele has been quite open about her right-wing views on social media, especially after she left ESPN. Given her opinions on transgender athletes in recent months, these words from Steele should come as no surprise.
