Good news, you’ll be able to watch Mike Francesa on TV again and prepare your costume for the next FrancesaCon! Only a little over a week after Francesa’s television contract with YES expired, New York’s “Numbah One” sports radio show is set to be back on TV. According to Newsday the sports pope’s afternoon sports talk show will now be televised on Fox Sports 1. As of right now there is no details of the contract, but Francesa said on his WFAN show last week that an announcement would be official early this week. Fox Sports 1 and YES are both owned by Fox, which coincidentally puts Francesa and his YES successor, Michael Kay in the same broadcast family. Kay, the ESPN competitor, began his YES era by opening his radio show by tossing a Diet Coke in the trash, to which Francesa described the act as “classless.”
