Ray Lewis has joined a long line of professional athletes, politicians, entertainment stars and other public figures pleading for peace in Baltimore. As people continue to destroy the streets of Baltimore, loot stores and attack police officers, the former Ravens linebacker is hoping an additional voice will help ease some tension, even if that voice could be seen as hypocritical.
Lewis continues to receive heat for his involvement in a mysterious 2000 murder along with other questionable moves throughout his life therefore while everyone can appreciate his desire to aid in the process of ending the riots, it might spark additional criticism for the future Hall of Famer:
I've got a message for the rioters in Baltimore.
